Cotton Candy Frappuccino. Birthday Cake Frappuccino. Caramel Cookie Bar Frappuccino. These are drinks that Starbuckss Coffee will make for you if you request them, but they’re not on the regular menu. There’s over 200 more drinks on the Starbuck’s secret menu too.
The real secret though, is none of these drinks are really secret. They’re just concoctions that Starbucks fans have come up with, since the baristas will make whatever you ask for. Many experienced baristas will know some of the more popular drinks by heart and will make them upon order. However, a vast majority of baristas probably won’t know how to make a Java Berry Frappuccino if you order it.
The easiest way to try new drinks is to use the official Starbucks app for iOS and Android devices. By using the app, you can pre-order your drink before you arrive and list all of the ingredients that go into your secret drink ahead of time. Not only does this make life easier for your barista, but it also keeps the order line flowing inside of the store. Starbucks even has some of the custom flavors in the app too. You can order those without having to find the proper ingredients.
When you download the app, you simply need to create an account. You can add a payment method to pay through your phone too. Once you sign up, the app will ask to use your location to pair you to the nearest store. If you’re on the go and want to select a specific store, you can do that as well.
You’ll need to find the recipe for your custom drink before you place your order. The best place to do that is at Starbucks Secret Menu. It’s a site devoted to Starbuck’s secret drinks and it list all of them with their recipes.
Simply click on Order within the Starbucks app. From there you can find the creme based Frappuccino, and from there you can add in the extras like peppermint and toffee nut syrup. Make your payment, schedule a pick up time and you’ve just ordered from the Starbuck’s Secret Menu.
You can even use the app to order from the regular menu. It’s a great way to avoid the long ordering lines in the morning when everyone is getting their morning cup of Joe.
