iPhone storage low? Download (and delete) a huge app

One of the worst things about owning a 16GB iPhone model is definitely the storage constraints that users experience. There are fortunately some tricks that you can use to free up space, but the fact they don’t always work and that they can only go so far leaves users in the lurch sometimes.

The app has to be sufficiently large to work, but still has to be small enough to fit on the remaining space. A good example of this is Hearthstone. Coming in at around 1.9GB, the app will force the iPhone to delete excess system files that you can’t manually get rid of in order to install the app.

Once the app has downloaded, you simply need to delete it to reveal that more storage is available than before. Depending on your circumstance, you could free up another 2GB of storage. Be sure to fill it up before the iPhone system does.

Keep in mind that this does not expand your iPhone storage capacity,
it rather just deletes up old and unnecessary files.
