Bose just released two new wireless Bluetooth speakers, the Revolve and Revolve Plus. Both new speakers feature a seamless metal body that a has soft bumpers on the top and bottom and feature a canister design. The one piece metal body is made from single piece extrusion metal giving it a gorgeous look no other speaker has yet to attain. Where Bose shines though is with its secret recipe for sound quality that few have equalled. Bose chose to go with a full 360 sound field in this generation of wireless speakers, and it sounds legitimately good in my initial impressions.
Both speakers are IPX4 water-resistant meaning you can use them outdoors or along the pool without worry of water damage. The smaller $199 Revolve speaker is about the size of a can of soda and has 12-hour battery life. The larger $299 Revolve Plus has 16-hour battery life. Using the Android or iOS Bose Connect app allows for two speakers to be paired together to double the sound output.
Both speakers also have very capable microphones for taking calls or taking commands for Siri and Google Now.
They’re available today and come in Triple Black and Lux Gray. Learn more at Bose.com.
