The Samsung Galaxy S8 (and S8+) is probably the most feature laden phone you can get now. Its software strays father away from pure Android with each generation and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It has countless features and an entire novel could probably be written about them. Luckily we’re only writing about one, and it’s about how to enable one-hand mode on the Samsung Galaxy S8.
The S8 is svelte for device with a 5.8″ display, however not everyone can use it with a single hand. And there are certainly times when we don’t have both hands free to type away on your Galaxy S8. Samsung offers a simple way to shrink your display size so you can use one thumb to control your S8. You need to enable one-handed mode before you can use it though.
How to enable one-hand mode on the Samsung Galaxy S8 (S8+)
- Goto Settings
- Click on Advanced features (fourth option from the top)
- Click the toggle to enable One-handed gesture
- You can also click on One-handed gesture and select from Button or Gesture to enable one-handed mode
