Stop spelling mistakes by enabling auto-correct in Chrome

Some of us are good at spelling and some are not. If you’re not going to take the time to study proper spelling, you’re probably always going to be a poor speller. However, technology has advanced far beyond spelling errors and you don’t have to make those basic mistakes anymore. If you’re a user of Chrome, you can stop spelling mistakes by enabling the auto-correct feature. All you need is a Google account and to be signed into Chrome to take advantage of this free feature. Once enabled you can use this feature to edit your emails or online documents that are accessed through Chrome.

Here’s how to enable spell check in Chrome:

  1. Goto the Settings tab by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner
  2. Open Advanced Settings
  3. Under the Privacy tab, simply click on the box next to “Enable a web service to help resolve spelling errors”
