Spotify made a huge announcement that it is partnering up with Hulu to offer both service to students for the low price of $4.99/month. This is a fantastic deal. Spotify Premium for students along is already $4.99/month. Hulu starts at $7.99 with the Limited Commercials plan. Music and television shows are an integral part of any student’s life. Your favorite songs help keep you sane while you are spending long hours in the library studying for finals.
So what do I get with the $5 dollar bundle?
You’ll get Spotify Premium and Hulu’s Limited Commercials plan.
Spotify Premium is worth every single penny. Spotify Premium allows you to play any song on-demand and listen to them on any of your devices. It is ad-free and there are no limits to skipping songs. The best feature is the ability to download music and listen to it offline. This comes in handy when you want to listen to music in an area with no Wi-Fi.
The Hulu’s Limited Commercials plan lets you watch all the shows that Hulu has to offer. You can expect to see about three commercials around 30 seconds in length for every 20 minute show.
Who is eligible?
You will need to be enrolled at a US Title IV accredited college or university. To see if your college qualifies, click here.
You must also be over the age of 18.
Chances are you already have Spotify Premium. You can still activate Hulu after you verify your student status. Students who are on the Spotify Premium Family plan will need to cancel the existing subscription and sign up for the student bundle.
Once you subscribe for Spotify Premium with Hulu, you’ll have access for up to 12 months. If you’re no longer a student at the end of that period, you will no longer be eligible for Spotify Premium with Hulu.
Take advantage of this awesome deal. I have been an avid user of Spotify Premium for the past four years and it is the only app I use to listen to music. If you’re already have Spotify Premium as a student, you’re pretty much getting Hulu access for free.
