Everyone is talking about cameras these days. With internal hardware, displays and builds reaching equilibrium across smartphones, manufacturers are pulling at our heartstrings with features and specs on the cameras because they know we love capturing all of our best moments. Food, children, pets, scenery, loved ones, and selfies are some of the most popular subjects for our photos and Samsung has a way to enhance your photos with stickers.
Stickers have been a popular feature made popular by Snapchat, but many of those who don’t use that popular app (like me) haven’t had native ways of using that feature on their smartphones until now. Within the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, S8 and S8+ Camera app, there’s a way to add sunglasses, hats, masks, themes, live stickers, animal effects and a wide range of other fun overlays onto your own or other’s faces. These stickers are smart – they have the ability to track and move with facial movements. They’re a great way to digitally enhance real-life photos with something fun to bring back warm memories.
While I’m not a huge fan of this feature, I recently gave my mom a new S8+ and showed her that feature. She loved it and played with it for hours, despite my dad’s annoyance at her trying to put bear ears on him. So if it’s fun and important to her, I’m sure there are thousands of others who might find this feature fun and useful too.
If you’ve never used stickers before, I highly recommend you try them out for the simple pleasures in life.
Here’s how to use Stickers on your Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8.
1. Open the Camera
2. Choose STICKERS
3. Choose the sticker you want to use
4. Tap the Camera or Video icon to record your picture or video
It’s super simple but many people overlook it because they don’t know what it is until they try it. Check it out, you’ll get a good laugh out of it.
