Master & Dynamic announces new colors for its flagship headphones

If you love audio and don’t know Master & Dynamic, you’re missing out. In a world filled with advertisements about Beats and Bose headphones, luxury and performance minded Master & Dynamic is quietly making itself known to audio enthusiasts with its range of wired and wireless headphones.

Master & Dynamic’s range of over-ear and on-ear headphones consist of its original wired MH40s, the MW60s which are a wireless version of the MH40, and the MW50 – a smaller and more travel friendly wireless on-ear headphones. All of these models are now available in olive-green and camouflage leather, called the Greene Street Collection. They’re priced the same as their original colors: MH40 at $399, MW50 at $449 and the MW60 at $549.

Created for the daring and sophistication of the concrete jungle, The Greene Street Collection draws inspiration from New York City, where fashion and streetwear cultures collide. This latest release embraces classic military-themed colorways, and seeks to take the next fashionable step in outfitting the urban creative with sound. – M&D

“From fashion runways to subway cars and everywhere in between, The Greene Street Collection represents our commitment to the urban creatives and the inspiration they continue to provide our brand,” said Master & Dynamic’s Founder and CEO Jonathan Levine.

I’ve been a fan of Master & Dynamic since I got my hands on the MW60s a year ago. The sound signature is incredibly unique where it manages to find the optimal balance of detail, richness and performance across almost all music genres. It’s not overly detailed like you’d find in high-end headphones that require a separate power source, which means you can listen to them for several hours at a time without developing fatigue. I listen to my MW60s at least a couple of hours a day as they let me escape into my world of music. I can use them wired or wireless and have fantastic battery life. I’m now envious of those camouflage MW60s and really want to try out the smaller MW50s in black/black which might be my favorite of all them.

The Greene Street Collection doesn’t improve upon anything besides adding more colors to the M&D headphone line. Its headphones are designed to last decades instead of being upgraded every year with minor improvements. They might seem pricey starting at $399, but if you factor in that these will be the only headphones you’ll need to buy for 10 years, they offer better value than those that are disposable. The build quality is second to none. M&D uses the highest grade leathers, metals and even synthetic fabrics like Alcantara which is found in luxury car brands such as Porsche and BMW.

These would make the perfect gift this holiday season for a loved one in your life. Good luck picking a color – they’re all good.
