It’s tough to find games that don’t require an Internet connection. The data usage associated with these kind of games can easily lead to going over your data plan. If you’re on a family plan, your parents aren’t going to be too pleased. It’s good to have a couple games in your arsenal to help pass the time that do not need Internet connection. Let’s take a look at a popular game called Stack Jump.
Gameplay
The concept is simple. How high can you climb? The point of the game is to jump on blocks and stack them as high as you can. Think of Doodle Jump and you pretty much get the overall gist of the game. You get points for every block you stack. Bonus points are awarded if you stack the box perfectly even with the previous block. The game ends when you mistime your jump, throwing you off your stack of blocks. The controls are to simply tap to jump.
There are separate challenges that add different obstacles to the regular mode. These are broken down into four challenges: underwater, high speed, perfect jumps, and fireball. Each challenge contains 12 levels that increase in difficulty and length of the challenge. Underwater slows the down the speed of your jump so that everything is in slow motion. The high speed challenge speeds up how fast the blocks move. Perfect jumps require you to stack the box perfectly until you reach the end of the challenge, otherwise you fail. The Fireball level shoots a fireball at your while you are jumping from box to box.
There are many different characters that can be unlocked based on achievements in the game. There are currently 35 characters to be unlocked. Click here to view a comprehensive guide to unlocking every character.
