Close up pictures of the Google Pixel 2 XL Panda Edition

Google launched its flagship smartphone lineup late this year and has finally caught up on production of its Panda Edition Pixel 2 XL. Last year Google struggled to get out more than a minuscule amount of Really Blue Pixels, and the year before manufactured a limited supply of white Nexus 6P smartphones. This year’s struggle is the black and white version of the larger Pixel and we finally got our hands on the Panda Edition and want to share just how great it looks. This isn’t a review of the phone, nor is it commentary on how well it performs – this post is simply to show you high-resolution images (taken by me, nothing but a novice photographer with a decent camera) so you can decide for yourself if the colors are right for you.

I happen to absolutely love this black and white with the orange power button for a little distinction. When I first opened the Pixel 2 XL Panda Edition it honestly reminded me of the colors of the San Francisco Giants who I have been a lifetime fan of. Shipping didn’t quite take the full 3-4 weeks that was listed on the Google Store site as well. It only took a nine days to get to my doorstep which means if you want one before Christmas, chances are high you can get it if you place your order now. Google is also running an extended version of the Cyber Monday deal where you can get a free Google Home Mini and $100 in store credit with an order of any Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL until December 15th.

Anyways, go on and enjoy the pictures of one of the best looking phones of 2017.

  1. I think I will finally pull the trigger on the Black and White XL vs. the Black. I think the orange button sold me on it.
