The Google Max is now available to purchase

Google’s movement into the smart speaker arena has been swift and successful in one short year. Just over a year ago, Google decided to compete with Amazon for your home with the Google Home smart speaker that came enabled, to take your commands and questions, with the powerful Google Assistant. Fast forward to today and Google has expanded its smart speaker selection with the Home Mini and now the Google Max which is available to purchase today.

The Google Max is the largest smart speaker of them all even when you compare it to Amazon’s entire lineup of Echo devices. The Max comes with dual custom tweeters for crystal clear sound and dual 4.5″ woofers for deep and powerful bass. Like the Mini and the Home, it is capable of helping you get through your day by simply speaking to it. It can personalize your content based on your voice signature and play up to 40 million songs simply by saying ” Hey Google or OK Google” and listing the song you want to listen to. Since the Max is a smart speaker with music first, it has the ability to tune itself to your room layout for the most optimal sound. It can connect to your home network over WiFi for true HiFi playback, or it can connect to your smartphones or tablets over Bluetooth to playback anything your heart desires. If you want big sound in every room in your house, feel free to purchase more than one since all Google Home products sync with each other for complete home audio.

The Max comes in two colors: Charcoal (black) and Chalk (gray/white) with a price tag of $399 with free shipping included from the Google Store. If you purchase a Google Home Max, you qualify for 12 months of free music through Google’s own YouTube Music ad-free service. This offer does not apply to existing customers of Google Play Music or YouTube Red and has a current subscription value of $9.99 per month.

The Google Max can also be purchased from B&H Photo, Walmart and Verizon.
