How to manage multiple social media accounts on your Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

Samsung’s take on Android is vastly different than what you’d find on a stock Google smartphone. It runs a heavily modified version of Android called TouchWiz and comes with so many features there are guidebooks dedicated to helping you sort through them. There’s one very useful feature which we use to manage multiple social media accounts where we don’t want to sign in and out just to switch accounts. There are many reasons to have multiple social media accounts, and we’re here to help you take advantage of Samsung’s useful feature called Dual Messenger. You can use Samsung’s Dual Messenger feature with Facebook, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Skype, Viber, and Telegram. As more apps become compatible, they will show up in the same menu within Dual Messenger. Some apps like Twitter and Instagram have native account switching within the app.

If you want to use multiple accounts on your Samsung Galaxy S9, follow these simple steps to enable Dual Messenger.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on Advanced Settings
  3. Activate Dual Messenger on compatible social media apps
