I thought SPAM to my email inbox was annoying, until unknown spam callers started to blow up my phone every single day. I continue to get calls no matter what tools I have used to block annoying people: FCC do not call list, Robocaller subscription, or AT&T’s spam blocker to name a few. The calls are not only disruptive, but there’s a high chance that many of them are looking to steal from you in one way or another. It’s simply a pain in the butt.
If you’re an iPhone user, there is a quick setting that can send all unknown callers straight to your voicemail.
Here’s how to enable Silence unknown callers:
- Open your Settings app
- Scroll down and click on the Phone icon
- Scroll down a bit and lick on Silence Unknown Callers
- Click on the button to activate it
Keep in mind, any unknown caller will go straight to your voicemail. So make sure your voicemail is set up to take messages. If you want to make sure a caller will be heard by a ring or vibration, simply add the number to your contacts. Your Apple iPhone will not block any known callers to your phone.
I’ve been using this feature for several weeks now and am much happier not to have random calls bothering me at all times of the day and night. I highly recommend this option over all others. It’s free and effective.
